Christmas came early for the budding writers of Cayetano Arellano High School.
The Cayetano Arellano High School Alumni Fund International (CAHSAFI), through its two Philippine-based directors Ysrael Cunanan and Val Obana, donated electronic gadgets for the use of Journalism classes. The donation consists of laptops, desktop computers, amplifiers and speakers, handycams and digicams.
In a simple turnover ceremony at the principal's office on Dec. 17, Cunanan and Obana presented the donation to Principal Loida Diaz. Also present were Mr. Mario Arocha and Mr. Joselito Zacarias, Journalism

Arellanite pitcher Ronna Mae Morales retired all three batters she faced in the second and fourth innings to turn a tight game against F. Torres High School into a rout , 17-12, in the opening game of the 2012 Palarong Maynila softball round robin elimination held at the Rizal Baseball Stadium on Nov. 12.

Arellanite Darla Mae Molato led the division team representing Manila in retaking the championship of the 2012 Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting Contests in English. The contests were held at San Francisco High School in Quezon City on October 22.

Lately we have run into some problems with our site. We had a virus attack a few months ago and yesterday, according to Mario Arocha, some unwanted Web links to porn sites appeared on the pages, to go with a few other offending content.
